I have read the Law of One enough recently I think, read and considered, to think about what the contact is trying to say generally. Not specifically.
I am reading Session 54 at the moment, and this, and the sessions previously, seem to show that Don had a fixed way of thinking. There is a technical question that Don asks about spiritual evolution and the way the energy field works, and the contact answers to the tune of 'This is technically correct, but it is not correct'.
The Law of One seems to me to be emphasizing, again and again, and because Don didn't get it, again and again, again. That the path to spiritual evolution is not a matter of getting these things technically correct. But more of a sense of emotionally or spiritually connecting to some etheric force or field. It is trying to explain something that doesn't seem easy to explain. More 'poetry' then 'engineering'.
I wonder a little bit if this is something I am also struggling to get. To understand. I have described previously that I have not been able to progress at all down a 'healing' route which I hoped to be able to. But have always found intuitively that music and meditation does work for me. Music is very much something that cannot be made into a technical thing. The music is technical sure, it is made of scales and such. But, to play there is an emotional or spiritual aspect that is front and centre.
Anyway, I do have thoughts down that direction but that wasn't where I thought this blog was going. Like I say I am re-reading the Law of One and am on Session 54. This stuck out to me:
Questioner: Would you please do that?
Ra: The origin of all energy is the action of free will upon love. The nature of all energy is light. The means of its ingress into the mind/body/spirit complex is duple.
Firstly, there is the inner light which is Polaris of the self, the guiding star. This is the birthright and true nature of all entities. This energy dwells within.
The second point of ingress is the polar opposite of the North Star, shall we say, and may be seen, if you wish to use the physical body as an analog for the magnetic field, as coming through the feet from the earth and through the lower point of the spine. This point of ingress of the universal light energy is undifferentiated until it begins its filtering process through the energy centers. The requirements of each center and the efficiency with which the individual has learned to tap into the inner light determine the nature of the use made by the entity of these instreamings.
What I think is interesting, is that there seems to me to be a hint here to astrology. It is mentioned when it is not strictly relevant. There is no Polaris asteroid, I checked. The term Polaris is sometimes used for the North Node symbolically. Well, technically, there is a fixed start that sits at the end of Gemini, in almost the same position as transiting Jupiter is in right now. (Which I had an insight about a few minutes ago!)
But I wonder if the Law of One is describing the dual instreamings. As they referenced in another section and correlating with the human design, they label two sets of astrology layered into the person. Before birth for the body and at birth for the soul. This is reflected in the pattern in the human design chart where the left is the body and the right is the spirit/ self - personality:
Or since the contact made sure to say that the energy of the body, coming in through the spine is the opposite of the North Star. Perhaps it is referring to the South Nodes?
Regardless, the information seems a bit too obtuse to be useable in any way I can think. But I did just want to record the thought I had about it. It does seem to me as though the Law of One text and this system are designed to be read together. One brings in a philosophy, spirituality, and states clearly that the focus is on archetypes and how to study them. The other being a system perfectly designed to do that.
